Acting Governor Scutari Takes Action on Legislation

TRENTON - Today, Acting Governor Scutari signed the following bills into law:


S-3374/A-5038 (Lagana/Tully) - Provides that operator, owner, lessor, and lienholder of vehicle may be responsible for certain towing and storage fees; applies retroactively

S-3776/A-5583 (Lagana, Schepisi/Tully, Egan) - Concerns prevailing wage requirements for certain fabrication

A-2271/S-3442 (Murphy, McKnight/Madden, Singleton) - Designates cranberry juice as State juice

A-4686/S-3131 (Spearman, Moen, Clifton/Cruz-Perez, Beach, Singleton) - Establishes penalties for person who commits motor vehicle noise violation

AJR-195/SJR-97 (Benson, Verrelli, Moen/Diegnan, Johnson) - Designates third week of September of each year as “New Jersey Rail Safety Week”
