Governor Murphy Directs the Lowering of U.S. and New Jersey Flags in Honor of West Point Cadet Christopher “C.J.” Morgan

TRENTON - Today, Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order No. 69, ordering U.S. and New Jersey flags to fly at half-staff on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 to honor the life of West Point Cadet Christopher “C.J.” Morgan of West Orange, who tragically died after a military vehicle accident last Thursday.

“Cadet Morgan represented the best of New Jersey and this nation,” said Governor Murphy. “Although he was taken from us all too soon, we will never forget the legacy he left behind of courage and sacrifice. Tammy and I send our deepest condolences to the Morgan family and his loved ones during this difficult time.”
