NEWARK – The next "Ask Governor Murphy” program, the statewide, live call-in show produced by public radio stations WBGO in Newark, WHYY in Philadelphia, and WNYC in New York, is scheduled to air on Monday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. Additional shows in 2018 will air on Monday, September 17 at 8:00 p.m. and Monday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. The show is hosted by the Peabody-Award winning journalist Nancy Solomon, New Jersey managing editor for WNYC, and is broadcast live from the WBGO studios in Newark.

Each show will include a mix of open phones for constituent calls; a segment focused on a pre-selected, timely topic; questioning by Solomon; questions collected in advance and during broadcast by the producers using social media and other means; and taped content that provides context and a jumping-off point for discussion with Governor Murphy.

"We are pleased we could come to an agreement with the Governor to provide New Jerseyans a unique opportunity to have a conversation with him about the diverse issues facing our state," said Amy Niles, president and chief executive officer of WBGO and executive producer of the program, speaking on behalf of the public radio partners.
